How To Be The Best Version Of You That You Can Be (Blogging Challenge Day 18)

HOW-TO-BE-THE-BEST-VERSION-OF-YOU-THAT-YOU-CAN-BE-

How do you do it? Be the best version of you that you can be? It’s something I tell my clients that I can help them be, and in fact, I am on a mission to help you do just that.

Why?

Because I want to make an impact in the World and I want to help you do that too. Whatever that means for you. I want to empower you to bring something more to the World, and to live more fully in the experience that is you and, for you to spread that energy outwards.

So lets talk about it, being the best version of you. What does that mean? Well, I don’t know what it means to you. I can only tell you my idea of it.

For me, being the best I can be in any given moment means knowing myself fully, and understanding how I work, How my emotions feel, how my thoughts affect my feelings and my life, and in that knowing, give myself the freedom to choose how I am me. It means taking responsibility for my actions, my thoughts, and my energy and always coming from a place of authenticity. I give voice to my needs and to my feelings, I take inspired action towards my dreams and I sit with my inner world listening to myself in the moment. I know that my life begins and ends with me. No one has power over me other than me, and I am the master of my life. This for me is being the best I can be.

To find self mastery my process has been to look within myself and look into my past to unravel emotional trauma and discover hidden events and experiences, so I can reconnect consciously with my essence, that part of me that came and shall, at some point, leave.

Being the best I can be has meant learning to love myself, every aspect of me, and learning to celebrate the challenges I have faced and come through. It has meant learning to be grateful for all that I have, simple things like the breath in my body and more complex things like my thirst for spiritual knowledge. Being the best I can be means continuing to stand in my own personal power and strength. It means showing compassion for those around me, and being kind and offering that kindness out to others.

These qualities come from within, I cannot offer these to the World without first having found them in myself.

So, I guess what I am saying here is that to be the best you can be, to make an impact in the World, you need to start with yourself.

If you are wanting to make change because you see that the World is stuck, first look within. Where are you stuck?

If you are wanting to offer kindness to others, look within. Are you kind to yourself first?

If you want to help care for others, look inside, are you able to care for yourself fully and well?

If you want to empower others to live with a positive mindset, first, are you able to do that in your own inner world?

If you want to help others speak out about their work or their creative power, are you able to do that about yours?

If you want to spread love in the World, do you love yourself?

If you want to help others create abundance in their lives, ask yourself ‘are you good enough?’

Getting to know your inner world is a must if you are wanting to expand your way of living. Life is about experience so if you are still playing out old patterns of behavior laid down in your unconscious from childhood, you will not be truly experiencing your world now as the adult that you are.

If you are living with fear as a constant companion, you will be limiting your experience of life with the expectation that something bad will happen, perhaps time to look at when you learned to be afraid rather than excited about the future.

If you are always waiting for a sign that you are on the right path, you may wait all your life and never experience certainty, for certainty comes from inside you not in an external message. This may be a sign that you need to understand why waiting for approval or validation holds you back, and time to work out whose approval you are waiting for.

If you find money is an issue in your life, look at the family history and the stories told around it. Was “money the root of all evil” in your house? Or, did you have to ‘work hard to earn a living’. All inherited ways of thinking, learned belief patterns that can be changed. Why not decide that ‘money is an energy and is to be celebrated’ or ‘my work is inspiring, knowing that I can have a home and food because of it’? See how the energy changes from shifting the words around.

If you look in the mirror and see a stranger looking back at you because your outside life is so incongruent with the life that you hold secret within you, step back and be honest. Is it time to make some changes for a better life? Is it time to step onto a path to be the best version of you that you can be?

Being the best version of you that you can be will free you. It will free your spirit, so that you can be happier, physically healthier, more visible as you, so that your clients can find you, feel your energy and want to work with you.

Being the best version of you that you can be will inspire you. It will bring creative insight flooding into you everyday- you know the space in your head that is filled with mind chatter right now- it will empty and space for new ideas will be created.

Being the best version of you that you can be will bring you to a place of joy and gratitude for all that you achieve will be in complete alignment with who you are.

Being the best version you can be of YOU in any given moment is the way to bring change, long lasting change to a World full of imbalance. Change begins within.
